Course for APPI 3/4/5 pilots
Olympic Wings offers a paragliding APPI qualifications course
for pilot APPI levels 3, 4, 5
23.03. to 30.03.2019
20.04. to 27.04.2019
This training & validations course is for pilots to achieve and/or upgrade their APPI level pilot’s license. It aims to paragliding students and pilots, who wish to follow or are already following the APPI certification system.
You can do in the course the equivalence from your national federation license into the APPI system. If you need support to subscribe and learn more about APPI we can guide you through it.
Course topics and lessons will follow the educational guideline developed by APPI and our capable instructors will provide you with clear understanding and theoretical knowledge moreover precise training for your progress as a pilot through the qualifying levels.
Theory sessions and practical training along with all necessary exam preparation and final validation will be carried out through the week.

about Olympic Wings:
Olympic Wings is since 1995 a paragliding school officially associated to the Greek Paragliding Federation EL.A.O. The Greek Federation in turn is associated to the international FAI.
Olympic Wings is a 5 star APPI school registered since 2011 and offers courses, licenses and exams for pilots, tandempilots and instructors, who wish to qualify with the international APPI standard.
Olympic Wings has offered four APPI pro workshops for paragliding and paramotor / trike in cooperation with diverse master instructors from abroad.
about Asterios Makrovasilis:
Stelios the leader and founder of Olympic Wings is a fully qualified FAI paragliding instructor and a certified APPI master instructor. He is the APPI country representative of Greece, member of the Pedagogical committee and the Safety and Disciplinary committee of APPI.
Also a former competition pilot he is widely known for his exceptional knowledge of the local flying conditions and his competent guiding skills.
He studied economics in Bath UK and is a licensed tour operator manager with longtime experience in the tourism industry.
about Claudia Kenk:
Claudia is an APPI instructor and APPI pro tandem pilot, DHV certified advanced pilot and licensed by ELAO as pilot and tandem pilot. She started with paragliding in 1991 in Germany.
During her studies of Chemistry at the university of Freiburg she flew in the Alps and in France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
She joined Olympic Wings in 1995. Her education as travel agent gives her the background for the office management and tour operator business tasks at Olympic Wings. She speaks fluent German, English and Greek.
