Pilot TANDEM Paragliding Course with Olympic Wings

Autor: Olympic Wings offers an exclusive TANDEM paragliding course to pilots who wish to learn how to fly with passengers safely.
The course will take place from 11. to 18. November 2017 at Mount Olympus in Greece.
Tandem paragliding course points:

- Technical and tactical flying of a tandem glider
- Tandem equipment functionality – Weight range & Speed range
- Psychological techniques to help you perform at your best
- Guides to prepare and manage passenger responses
- Professional tandem paragliding class steps
Program:
- Introduction and establishment of pilot levels
- Review of the equipment – Insights into tandem equipment design & purposes
- Tandem paragliding & Tandem paragliding equipment in established theory
- Passenger briefing and area/weather tandem pilot analysis
- Practical lessons and experience under clear instruction and radio guidance support
- Psychological preparation – self analysis techniques – safety standards & components
- Final assessment & formal certification including activity insurance options
The course is organized and offered by Olympic Wings Paragliding School & Center
– with constant and complete operation as a paragliding professional
worldwide recognized since 1995
– for paragliding holidays, beginner & performance courses, special seminars
and leisure & training tandem paragliding flights.
Location:
Our flying area – with more than 15 take off’s – covers the three mountains Pieria, Olympus and Kissavos that form a longer range parallel to the sea separated by impressive valleys.
These mountains protect our area throughout the year from strong meteorological winds so developing their own local wind systems which we use for flying.
The southern region typically offers fantastic XC and thermalling opportunities. Pilots use the flatland of Thessaly for FAI triangles or going on a XC back to the beach.
The northern area towards the sea typically offers smoother conditions, which are also ideal to experience first thermal flights and landings on the beach.
Olympic Wings can arrange and book for you accommodation and transfers for the duration of your visit and your participation to the course.
